High quality digital recording systems are available today to singers, songwriters, and musicians at a very affordable cost.  And most people have the ability during the tracking phase to record good quality audio but what about a world class mix of your music?  A mix that sounds great on the radio and is comparable to other music in your genre.  That is where experience makes all the difference.

During my 25+ year career producing and engineering a wide variety of musical genres, I have worked with everything from the simplicity of solo acoustic artists to the vast complexity of a 90 piece orchestra backed by a rock rhythm section.      

I do stereo mixing, 5.1 surround mixing, and mastering for clients all over the world and use an internet service that handles large file transfers.  Wave files or high resolution MP3s are emailed for approval. 

For new clients, I will mix and/or master one song before any money changes hands.  If you like my work, then it is added to your account.  If not, there is no charge.

Equipment: 

Pro Tools HD TDM computer system, Control 24 mixing console, Tannoy and JBL monitoring, large selection of high end plug-ins.  

Rates:  

Mastering:  $40 USD per song (up to five minutes in length, pro-rated for longer).  Replication master $25.  No charge for reference CD.

Mixing:  $50 USD per hour for stereo mixing and/or 5.1 surround mixing.  NOTE: When I mix a project, I am also mastering as I work so there is no additional charge for mastering, just the hourly rate.
